I know we’ve had too much Neil Young and I know promised to give the man a break, but it isn’t my fault! I was watching a Portuguese programme about homeless people and I recognized one of the song as being from Neil Young; I then went on finding it and I realized it is called Philadelphia and was written for the Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington‘s film with the same name (I did not remember the song from the movie, though, despite having watched it not that long ago).
Below you have a clip from the movie but the voices are quite low, so it’s almost like listening just to the music while reminding (assuming you’ve already watched it) the movie.
Today “I bring you” an Italian pianist that I got to know through an Italian friend (to whom I thank). The song I’m going to post was the first I ever heard from Ludovico Einaudi. 3 years have passed and I have listened to most of Ludovico’s discography, but Nuovole Bianche (White Clouds) is still my favourite – if you listen carefully to it, you’ll surely understand why!
All that’s left is to draw your attention to the first comment in youtube
