We’re just a couple of days away from Christmas and you still do not have a gift for your girlfriend? In the old days things were probably going to turn out bad for you… But now you don’t have to worry anymore, Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg found the solution for your problem! Quite cheap, fast and easy to prepare, and it’s one of those gifts that can always be used (and fortunately she won’t have any other).
So gentlemen, here’s the gift you’re looking for, as well as the instructions for the preparation. Hope she likes
There are a million ways to end this sentence, but the one I’m thinking of is “you love boys bands!”
This might not apply to everyone, but it applies to most people – like me and some of my blog fellows (I won’t say names to avoid ruining your already quite low reputations) -, especially girls!
In my case, Blue is undoubtedly my all-time favourite boys band (Paulo’s post with four of us singing Best in Me is just a taste of how much I like Blue) and I might share some of their songs later in here. Besides Blue, I did not listen to boys bands that much – some Portuguese ones, like Excesso or D’Arrasar, and Backstreet Boys, of course!
But there’s another boys band that I really like – Westlife. They have quite beautiful ballads, some original ones and some really nice covers. I’ll leave you each one of them, both quite beautiful songs
I have written a post about jobs, but there’s one that missed me. Fortunately, I can now compensate for that mistake and I use this post to promote the romantic Flo Rida‘s song that mentions the kind of job that I forgot to mention. It’s not the first time this theme is referred in a song (there’s plenty more here), but it’s always touching to listen to such beautiful poems.
Hope you feel the same way and let your emotions be filled by these amazing lyrics!
Disclaimer: the songs below are not very decorous, so I advise you to not listen to them if you are not a great fan of listening to obscenities.
Having this said, I must proceed with my post without feeling guilty We’ve had Hip Hop and we’ve had funny songs, but we haven’t had them together. That’s why I’m here today.
I shall present you “my man”: Afroman! That’s right, that same guy that a decade ago made us all sing the great hit “Because I got high“. I was just a 12 year-old kid back then and my English skills were not that great, but it was just enough to make me understand the chorus and a little more, and to make me sing the song with Gonçalo and Pedro during class breaks.
Back then, Because I got High was the only Afroman song I (and most people, I guess) knew. But a couple of weeks ago I discovered other two Afroman songs that are worth listening to – at least if you like indecorous and simple humour -, so that’s what I’m sharing with you. Hope you enjoy and that the first song does not apply to you
Now this second one is the one that hooked me for about a week (17 counts in my WMP). I’ll leave you the official video clip, but also the link to the uncensored song (easier to understand the lyrics).
